Conveyor Belt Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Belt Conveyor Technician
to join our growing belt conveyor splicing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with conveyor belt splicing, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in industrial environments. This role involves working on conveyor systems, mechanical and electrical components, hydraulics, and high-voltage equipment to ensure safe and efficient conveyor operation.

, and performing physically demanding work in manufacturing, mining, or bulk material handling environments.

• Perform conveyor belt splicing (hot, cold, and mechanical) and belt installations
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and related equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Work safely around high-voltage systems and heavy machinery
• Read and interpret work scopes, drawings, and job specifications
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at job sites
• Travel to customer locations and work extended or irregular hours as required

• Experience in belt conveyor splicing or industrial conveyor maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude; electrical and hydraulic knowledge preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve under pressure
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

• Previous work in conveyor splicing, mining, aggregates, manufacturing, or bulk material handling
• Familiarity with hot vulcanizing presses and splicing tools
• High-voltage or lockout/tagout experience
