Overview
Software Engineer at Trace Security in Baton Rouge, LA.
Responsibilities- At least 5 years experience doing full stack web development
- Creating and configuring web app servers
- Building and deploying applications
- Experience with basic Dev Ops concepts
- Familiar with Linux and navigating the file system; writing and running Bash scripts
- Experience with AWS is ideal (EC2, RDS, Elastic Beanstalk)
- Knowledge of fundamental web technologies: HTML, CSS, Java Script
- JSON, XML
- REST APIs, AJAX, Fetch, HTTP
- Experience developing web apps using JavaScript SPA frameworks (e.g., Vue, React, Svelte, Angular);
Vue is ideal but not required - Familiar with backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C#)
- Familiar with SQL databases (e.g., Postgre
SQL, MySQL) - Familiar with web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache)
- Experienced using Git
- Experience with AWS is ideal
- Navigating the file system, viewing and editing files, and writing scripts
