Warehouse Associate – Part Time Seasonal. Working Monday through Friday during peak school months; off in summer and winter school leave periods.

About the Role

Join Scholastic Book Fairs to help build and deliver book fairs for schools. Work on building fair kits, loading/unloading, scanning, and restocking while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform functions of WA – Level I including fair production, returns, fulfillment of customer orders, scanner, replenishment, corrugate assembly, truck unload, pulling restocks, pricing, repacking, and put away.
• Consistently meet minimum production, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Follow all safety policies, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain a neat, clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Operate motorized pallet jacks upon completion of the SBF powered equipment program.
• Assist on temporary projects as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability: reliable attendance, proper handling of product.
• Plan and prioritize work, recording task details accurately.
• Use tools and technology appropriately.
• Maintain professional relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Adhere to drug and alcohol-free policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication, basic math, and reading of English documents.
• Basic computer and communication system familiarity.

Physical Demands

• Lift boxes up to 50 lbs daily.
• Lift boxes up to 30 lbs to a height of 78” daily.
• Push wheeled cases >300 lbs with initial force up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, reach, squat, bend, kneel as needed.
• Tolerate non‑air‑conditioned environment, heat, cold, noise, dust.
• Follow instructions for detailed assembly.
