151 MCQUISTON DRIVE - BATTLE CREEK, MI 49037, Salary Range: $22.19 - $24.60 Hourly, Job Objective:
- Provide accounting support to Gallagher Uniform with a heavy focus on A/P work
- Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily entry of key data of financial transactions
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Contact customers via phone with outstanding invoice balances, as necessary
- Constantly update job knowledge
Qualifications &
Educational Requirements:
- High school graduate; degree in accounting or finance related field preferred
- Proven accounting or finance experience
- Attention to detail and organization skills
- Aptitude for numbers
- Computer Proficient with MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Good phone demeanor and customer service experience
- knowledge preferred
