Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff and visitors.
- Handles relocation of clients when necessary per program guidelines
- Provide office support as assigned
- Manages project-related paperwork by ensuring all client files are funder compliant, current, complete and filed/uploaded.
- Communicates with clients to identify and define project timeline.
- Refer clients to other housing or agency related funding sources, as needed.
- Attends staff meetings and all required trainings.
- Establish and promote partnerships with community partners and other agencies, serving as an Agency advocate to promote housing programs.
- Responsible to have knowledge of the rules, regulations, policies and procedures governing the assigned housing programs.
- Submit invoices for payment for all assigned projects.
- Responsible for other analyses and internal reviews as requested. *
- Comply with program and Agency policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff and agency information.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Complies with Agency’s Vision, Mission and Culture Statements.
- Regularly required to sit, to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk or hear.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to stand, bend, and walk.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must have the ability to travel in motor vehicle and/or other forms of transportation for hours at a time and have physical mobility to move around airports as well as in and out of motor vehicles.
Education :
This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with minimum 1 year office experience.
Experience :
Between one and two years of progressively more responsible or expansive experience, related to clerical or office assistance, data entry, records, or data management is required.
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Administration, development, and human services knowledge is desirable.
- Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships with the diverse public, and staff.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced level computer skills with experience in the Agency’s software programs.
- Takes initiative, displays a strong work and maintains a positive attitude.
- Must be capable of establishing and maintaining positive, effective working relationships with staff, clients, contractors and vendors of varying educational and cultural backgrounds
- A valid Michigan’s driver’s license with a driving record in compliance with Community Action Agency of South Central Michigan insurance carrier requirements.
