Salary Range: $75,000 - $114,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine mechanical designs for new and existing products.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of material (BOMs) using CAD software.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet production requirements.
- Conduct design analysis, simulations, and testing to validate product performance and reliability.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for optimal product functionality and durability.
- Investigate and resolve design-related issues, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Inventor) and PDM systems.
- Demonstrated experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).
- Experience with material selection, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Hands-on experience with specific manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining, welding).
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Experience conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other simulation techniques.
