Key Responsibilities- Install, calibrate, and maintain industrial robots and robotic systems on the production floor.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on robotic equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
- Modify and optimize robot programs (e.g., path adjustments, I/O configurations) to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and safety checks on all robotic systems to ensure compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to integrate new robotic solutions and improve existing processes.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes accurately for record‑keeping and analysis.
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Adherence to safety protocols and procedures for industrial machinery and robotic systems.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
- Familiarity with CAD or robot simulation software (e.g., Solid Works, Robot Studio).
- Basic programming skills in Python or C++.
- Certification from a major robot manufacturer (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB).
