Salary Range: $76,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in Battle Creek that are seeking Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform internal and external product and process audits to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) activities, including APQP, FMEAs, control plans, and PPAP submissions.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Manage the non-conforming material (NCR) process, from identification and segregation to disposition and rework/scrap decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Manufacturing).
- Proven experience with quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, MSA, and Control Plans.
- Strong understanding and application of Root Cause Analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys) and corrective/preventive actions.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or industry-specific quality management systems (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for quality module management
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
- ASQ CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) certification
