Grace Health is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Immunization Resource Coordinator to manage vaccine inventory, storage, documentation, and compliance with public health guidelines. This role serves as the primary liaison with local health departments, supporting safe and effective immunization practices across the organization through education, coordination, and reporting.
Job Purpose and Basic FunctionThe Immunization Resource Coordinator oversees vaccine management and immunization documentation, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records, supporting clinical staff, and promoting best practices related to immunizations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Michigan Care Improvement Registry (MCIR) records, inventory, and user access
- Serve as liaison to the Health Department for immunizations, lead testing, and communicable diseases
- Ensure current Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) are available
- Provide vaccine education and support to staff
- Administer immunizations or assist clinical staff as needed
- Manage vaccine inventory, storage, quality, and compliance
- Report adverse events through VAERS
- Review daily MCIR and Next Gen vaccine reports
- Update immunization policies and procedures as needed
Medical Assistant Certification required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
