The General Manager has ultimate accountability for the successful operation, growth and prosperity of an assigned Fazoli’s Restaurant through execution of People, Sales, Profit.

• Atracts, interviews, selects and onboards the restaurant team. Develops team succession and bench strength using internal development processes.
• Builds professional business relationships and partnerships within the community and leverages relationships into mutually beneficial business opportunities.
• Administrates all aspects of the business, maximizing profitability by enforcing effective management practices, policies, controls and systems.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of general business and financial principles.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple strategies simultaneously.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, competitive nature and enthusiastic team leadership.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 and valid driver’s license.
• External candidates:
  Minimum 3 years General Manager experience (Fast‑casual/quick service preferred).
• Internal candidates: 1+ years as Assistant General Manager with recommendation and completion of development readiness checklist.
• Must complete all required Fazoli’s training and certifications including SERV Safe.
• Must be available to work all hours of restaurant operations and meet weekly scheduling requirements.
• Must be willing to transfer and/or assist at other Fazoli’s restaurants as needed.
• Must maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to Safety & Security policies.
• Must successfully clear routine background, motor vehicle report and reference checks.

The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, bending and talking, and handling up to 50 pounds. The schedule includes 8 meal periods across 7-day week, with flexible assignments and mileage reimbursement for travel beyond 25 miles.
