Multi-Billion Dollar manufacturing plant located on the East Side of Battle Creek Michigan is looking for a Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator
OverviewEnvironmental Health & Safety Coordinator position at a large manufacturing facility in Battle Creek, MI. Responsibilities support the EHS Manager and help maintain compliance and safety programs.
Job duties- Support and assist EHS Manager with strategic planning for development and use of specific awareness programs (5-S and Housekeeping, etc.)
- Support plant safety compliance per regulations
- Coordinate the technical health and safety activities with the facility
- Maintain knowledge of OSHA & MIOSHA standards, including inspection / review of new equipment and materials for the plant; conduct inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
- Support the ISO 45001 Safety Management System
- 3+ years working in Health and Safety
- 1+ year working in a plant manufacturing environment
- HS Diploma
- Mid-Senior level
- Full-time
