The Saw Operator is a key team member that will be responsible for cutting the materials and maintaining high quality and safety standards on the wheelchair‑accessible vehicle conversions we produce.

• Measure materials as specified by blueprints
• Cut and load metal tubing on the production saw to supply our parts welding team with the materials needed
• Coordinate tasks according to engineering priorities and plans
• Communicate with the Second Shift to ensure a smooth transition
• Follow all safety protocols and quality standards
• Meet daily production goals in order of priority
• Machine maintenance (adding coolant and replacing the blades as needed)
• Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to read a metric tape measure
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to communicate and report progress and issues effectively
• Reliable and punctual
• Construction experience preferred
• Welding experience preferred but not required
