Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as the Breadbasket Manager! The Breadbasket Manager supports all aspects of our restaurant-style dining experience called the “Bread Basket.” This includes ordering, meal preparation, presentation, and the meal service experience.

This position offers a full suite of benefits options that vary based on employment status. Some of the benefits include, but are not limited to:

• Occasional mandatory travel required for training and development purposes.
• Order food, following Bickford’s process, in a timely, cost‑effective manner.
• Ensure appropriate information is available to produce meals (production sheets, recipes, prep/pull sheets, week’s extension menus, week‑at‑a‑glance menus).
• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures and appropriately plated.
• Ensure Bickford’s process is followed during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Utilize residents’ Meal Order Information form to track all resident physician‑ordered diets, allergies, and preferences.
• Maintain food service records in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies.
• Store food in accordance with regulatory requirements and Bickford’s policies.
• Ensure completion of the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Ensure the kitchen and dining room meet regulatory requirements and Bickford’s expectations for cleanliness.
• Coordinate with marketing and life enrichment leaders to ensure appropriate food/refreshments are provided for tours and events.

• High School Diploma or GED; one-year related experience
• Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
• Serv Safe, CPR and First Aid certifications required
• A valid driver’s license and a driving record consistent with Bickford’s insurance carrier guidelines
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, competent in organizational and time management skills, demonstrates good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
