The Terry Smith Agency is hiring a limited number of Entry-Level Insurance Sales Producers to join our award-winning office and established, high-performing sales team.
This role is designed for early-career professionals who are starting a serious sales career and want structured training, daily coaching, and long-term development. You will be trained to sell insurance the right way — with strong fundamentals, ethical persuasion, and a proven process. No prior insurance experience is required.
Compensation is base + commission + bonuses and is performance-based; top earners consistently exceed goals. are selective in our hiring. This is not a mass‑application role and is best suited for motivated, reliable, and coachable individuals who are ready to grow within a team environment.

- Handle live inbound calls and warm leads from prospects actively shopping for insurance
- Learn and execute a structured, proven sales process for auto, home, renters, and umbrella insurance
- Educate clients, uncover needs, and confidently present coverage options
- Build and bundle full households rather than single-policy sales
- Follow scripts, workflows, and daily activity expectations
- Accurately document conversations, quotes, and outcomes in the CRM
- Protect agency lead resources by following process and accountability standards
- Participate in daily team training, coaching, and skill development sessions
- Consistent follow-up (calls/text/email) and keeping your pipeline organized
- Continuously improve sales skills through feedback, role‑play, and performance review
- Strong work ethic and personal accountability
- Coachability and willingness to follow structured systems and training
- Outgoing, confident communicator with the ability to persuade ethically
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Organized and detail‑oriented
- Basic computer and technical proficiency
- Ability and willingness to complete a required assessment as part of the hiring process
