Position DescriptionLaurin Middle School
NON-CONTINUING
Testing Coordinator Assistant, varied hours and days from October through June. (150 hour maximum)
Job Responsibilities- Work with the school's assessment coordinator to prepare and administer Smarter Balanced Assessments.
- Demonstrate to students, in a seminar setting, how to use Chromebooks for testing.
- Guide students, in a seminar setting, through ELA and Math Smarter Balanced practice tests.
- Monitor and revise student training/testing schedules as needed.
- Proctor state Smarter Balanced ELA and Math computer assessments under the supervision of a certificated teacher.
- Work with confidential student information in a professional manner.
- Experienced computer user, adept at learning new tools and software.
- Organized, detail-oriented, practiced with scheduling.
- Ability to work patiently and flexibly with students and staff.
- Prefer expertise in using Google Chromebook.
- Prefer previous experience with Smarter Balanced testing.
- PSE Assistant Secretary (Program) Level 18 position with pay according to the terms of the negotiated union agreement.
- Other possible Supplemental contracts for classified employees whose base contract is less than 8 hours per day.
- Before or after school bus duty/supervision - $22.66/hr -$30.46/hr
- BEA Base Time - $22.66/hr -$30.46/hr
