Care Coordinator; Medical Receptionist​/PSR

Pro Active Physical Therapy Specialists, part of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a PRN Care Coordinator (Medical Receptionist/PSR) to join our team!

• Commitment: PRN (20‑40 Hours/Week)
• Temporary; potential to become full‑time.
• Position duration: 4‑6 months; training to start in January.
• Salary: ~$16‑$20/HR BOE.

• Manage front desk operations, including patient check‑in/check‑out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination while providing exceptional customer service.
• Verify insurance coverage, process authorizations, and collect payments to support accurate billing and ensure smooth patient access to care.
• Maintain accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documentation.
• Answer phone calls and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner while upholding HIPAA compliance and fostering a welcoming healthcare environment.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Basic office and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required.
