Waiter

Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and efficient Waiter/Waitress to provide excellent customer service to our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional appearance, and a positive attitude to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.

Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items.

Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar.

Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous manner.

Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly.

Process bills and handle payments using the POS system.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations.

Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant before and after shifts.

Collaborate with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong multitasking and time-management abilities.

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Basic math skills for handling payments.

Neat and professional appearance.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
