The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating both conventional and CNC machines to produce metal and non‑metal parts according to specifications.

• Review blueprints, sketches, and manuals to understand part specifications and machining steps.
• Measure and mark materials to prepare for machining.
• Set up machines with the correct tools, fixtures, and materials.
• Adjust machine settings like speed, feed, and depth of cut.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to ensure quality.
• Inspect finished parts to confirm they meet specifications.
• Perform test runs to ensure machine settings are correct.
• Replace and install parts in machines or equipment, then test for proper function.
• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and production staff to solve issues.
• Follow all quality standards related to KMT Waterjet's QMS and ISO requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• GED or High School diploma
• 1 year related experience preferred
