A Day in the Life of a NP-Sleep Medicine / Family Medicine:
This role supports both Sleep Medicine and Family Medicine by providing follow-up care, diagnostics, and patient education. Working closely with a Sleep Medicine physician, the APP manages treatment plans involving CPAP therapy, medications, and lifestyle counseling. Collaboration is key as this position is part of a multidisciplinary team. The work includes both routine and complex cases, requiring adaptability and strong clinical judgment.

Mostly outpatient-based, the pace can vary and involve rotating between clinic locations.

About the Advanced Practice Providers Department:
Expert Care, Lasting Impact. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at CRMC, you deliver high-quality care in both primary and specialty settings. You diagnose conditions, manage treatment plans, provide preventative care, and guide patients through complex medical concerns. Working both independently and with physicians and care teams, you bring expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate communication to every patient interaction. With a focus on evidence-based practice, continuity of care, and holistic treatment approaches, APPs enhance patient outcomes and improve community health.

Qualifications
  • Education and Experience Required
  • NP
    :
    Current DEA certificate and Minnesota Nurse Practitioner License. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program. Minimum of 2 years experience working independently with patients in family practice, acute care or similar specialty.
  • PA
    :
    Current DEA certificate and national certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. State PA license required. Bachelor's and successful completion of an accredited physician assistant program required. Minimum of 2 years experience working independently with patients in family practice, acute care or similar specialty.
  • Preferred
    :
    Experience with program growth.

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay may be higher based on individual experience, education, or certifications.
