Onboarding Recruiter

M‑F 8:30am‑4:30pm
Base pay: $22.00/hr - $28.00/hr
The Onboarding Recruiter is primarily responsible for meeting hiring goals by filling open positions with talented and qualified candidates. They handle the full life cycle of the recruiting process—sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and facilitating offers—ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for Artesian Homes employees. In addition, they handle day‑to‑day business administration of the company.
Qualifications- 18 years of age or older with a clear background check and good driving record
- Extremely organized and able to prioritize duties
- Proficient in computers:
Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point - Experience using technology including: telephones, scanners, printers, and computers
- Experience using social media platforms for recruitment purposes
- Positive, energetic, social personality
- Excellent interpersonal skills including clear, professional communication verbally and in writing
- Highly flexible in varying situations
- Ability to work independently and proactive in developing skills, abilities, and duties
- Excellent at relationship building and networking
- Advertise open positions through a variety of recruitment platforms
- Actively recruit candidates using social media, job fairs, referral programs, networking, etc.
- Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it
- Perform reference checks as needed
- Manage onboarding and new hire processes
- Organize, facilitate, and run orientation sessions for new hires
- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
- Conduct interviews of qualified candidates
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection are done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
- Assist with exit interviews
- Lead HRIS recruitment/onboarding software including applicant tracking
- Manage background check process
- Work cooperatively with Human Resource department team
- Manage all employee personnel files
- Administration duties including answering phones, ensuring office cleanliness, ordering office supplies, grocery shopping, food preparation during training
- Abide by all Artesian Homes policies and procedures
- Represent Artesian Homes within and outside the organization in a manner that promotes mission, vision, values, and goals
- Undertake any additional tasks and initiatives as assigned by the Human Resource Director
