They utilize tools such as CCTV, exception reports, and physical security monitoring to minimize loss. Responsibilities include preparing detailed case reports, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in court. They must report hazards, demonstrate integrity, and support store business objectives while ensuring safety.
