Emergency Medicine Physician

Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with emergency skills
• Proven experience managing adult and pediatric emergencies
• Proficiency in procedures such as suturing, incision & drainage, airway management, EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, and other emergency procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle high patient volume efficiently
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with Cerner EHR system
• Additional training in pediatric or geriatric emergency care
• Prior experience in a hospital-based emergency department setting

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine or urgent care experience
• Current DEA certification and BLS/ACLS certifications

Other Requirements:

• This position is strictly onsite with no call requirement
• Shift times are variable: and , with specific dates outlined in the assignment schedule
• Must clock in/out using Doc Time, adhering to site policies
• Travel must conform to McLaren/AHSA policies; no third-party lodging or flight expenses reimbursed
• Must include malpractice coverage in rate submission
• Orientation is compensated at half the hourly rate
