Location: Bay City, MI
Shifts: 1st (6am-3pm) & 3rd (10pm-6am)
Pay rate: $45-50/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must Haves- 2+ years proven experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell PLCs (logic, programming, troubleshooting).
- Experience working with FANUC robotics (troubleshooting, integration).
- Hands-on experience with Keyence vision systems.
- Familiarity with CNC machining equipment and associated automation systems.
- Ability to work independently on a live manufacturing floor and support both existing equipment and new machine bring-up.
We’re seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer to support manufacturing operations at a leading automotive facility in Bay City. This role involves working directly on the plant floor to troubleshoot, maintain, and support automation systems, including PLCs, FANUC robots, vision systems, and CNC machining equipment.
Responsibilities- Support PLC logic troubleshooting and modification using Siemens and Rockwell platforms.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing production equipment on the manufacturing floor.
- Program, troubleshoot, and support FANUC robots integrated into production lines.
- Interface with Keyence vision systems to ensure accurate inspection and detection.
- Assist with bringing up new equipment, from installation through to production readiness.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to ensure uptime and automation performance.
