Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Michigan requiring a current MI RN license and strong floating capabilities.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Care for critically ill adult patients including neuro and cardiac cases
- Must be comfortable floating to the Emergency Department (ED) and step-down units
- Must provide care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
- Copies of all certifications must be provided for consideration
- Active Michigan RN license at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to float to ED and step-down units is required
- TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, or SCRN certifications are preferred
- Previous travel nurse experience is preferred
- Neuro surgical and open heart nursing experience are preferred
