LPN Nurse - Nights

Overview

LPN Nurse – Days and Nights – $33.55 base pay. Starting wage $30.15 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay. Yearly wage increases. This is a full-time opportunity with rotating weekends and some holidays at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center.

• Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis as applicable.
• Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors to foster a positive healing environment.

• A current license to practice as an LPN (Practical Nurse) in Michigan; current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• Strong analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to problems affecting well-being.
