Schedule: Every other weekend required; float pool assignment

• Active and unrestricted Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience (required)
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to work in a float pool capacity across multiple units
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Commitment to attendance and punctuality standards

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout hospitalization
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications including IV therapy; manage wound care and specialized equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Provide patient and family education on post-surgical care, medication schedules, and discharge instructions
• Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients and prevent emergencies
