Sales Director National Insurance Housing is looking for an experienced Sales Director to drive insurance housing profitability. This individual will be responsible for successfully operating the insurance housing business development sales program. The selected person needs to have experience in management and sales. National Corporate Housing is a multi‑brand, global leader in providing temporary housing program management for global business travel and corporate relocations.

National is one of the largest providers of temporary housing around the globe.

Responsibilities
  • Support and promote National's mission statement, strategic vision, and core values to internal and external customers.
    • Provide disciplined, ethical, and focused leadership.
  • Provide focus to team on the alignment of sales.
  • Sales player/coach role so Director would be working on bringing in accounts as well.
  • Proactively attract, hire, and retain successful additions to the sales team.
  • On‑board, coach and provide professional development to sales team.
  • Build, develop, and manage sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.
  • Establish and implement detailed plan for New Hire Program as well as continued education of seasoned team.
  • Responsible for the performance of all business development and associated sales roles.
  • Guide to completion the annual and quarterly goal setting process for Business Development team. Collaborate with COO & Finance team to set annual goals for BDR’s that support company budget.
  • Track and report on productivity to established goals weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
  • Drive customer acquisition, client retention, and growth, as well as identify industry expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with COO/President to execute a sales strategy that supports and exceeds budgeted revenue and gross profit goals of the organization.
  • Directly participate in closing business deals with insurance carriers.
  • Create training materials for various team members to ensure success in their roles.
  • Observe and participate in sales opportunities to ensure team growth and success.
  • Coach, train, motivate and manage performance of business development (and related) team to achieve sales goals, taking necessary action to ensure sales targets are achieved, and exceeded consistently.
  • Handle day‑to‑day sales team management.
  • Handle sales team and related 1x1’s, quarterly, monthly and year‑end business reviews with business development (and related) team.
  • Participate in National’s sales initiatives as directed by COO.
  • Maintain a high profile within the industry to identify new opportunities and increase brand awareness.
  • Execute a consistent sales process resulting in accurate sales forecasting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing team, business development team and COO to ensure constant brand awareness.
  • Manage other projects as assigned to further develop knowledge of insurance housing business and gain valuable experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree is ideal or equivalent industry experience with proven success managing financial metrics in a large P&L.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of sales, management or leadership accountability in:
    • Insurance Housing, relocation, hospitality, property management, corporate housing, multi‑unit retail or service business, travel or real estate is a plus.
  • Proven history of success managing both sales and operations focused team members.
  • Must be a fast‑paced, independent, motivated self‑starter with a drive to succeed.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service and guest resolution skills.
  • MS Office, Word, Outlook, Excel, and Accounting/Financial software use.

Travel is required.
