Pay Range

Allegiance Mobile Health of Bay City, TX is looking to hire Paramedics (EMT P). The role requires providing advanced life support care in emergency and non‑emergency settings.

Paramedics will lead patient assessment, perform advanced interventions, administer medications, interpret EKGs, and ensure safe transport.

• Respond to emergency and non‑emergency calls 24/7 and operate emergency vehicles in all conditions.
• Read map books and follow written and verbal directions.
• Follow all departmental, local, and state driving laws, policies and procedures.
• Communicate via various equipment with dispatchers, EMS crews, first responders and other agencies.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in readiness and cleanliness.
• Complete daily vehicle and supply checklists; assist with re‑supply, decontamination and readiness tasks.
• Report any discrepancies with vehicles, supplies or equipment in writing.
• Provide direct patient care per Medical Director’s authorization and protocols.
• Demonstrate clinical competency in all patient care instances.
• Demonstrate physical competency to lift, carry, transport and extricate patients.
• Interact with external agencies such as Police, Fire, and First Responder Organizations.
• Provide satisfactory customer service and professionalism.
• Perform patient care reports, billing, and documentation timely.
• Work under physically and psychologically taxing conditions including inclement weather and hazardous environments.
• Potential exposure to blood‑borne pathogens, chemicals, sharp objects, and fall hazards.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including housekeeping and special projects.
• Pass departmental skills evaluation and complete the NEOP process before staffing a truck.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Lift, carry, balance and push up to 125 lb (250 lb with assistance).
• Demonstrate flexibility and coordination; bend from waist, touch toes, squat with legs parallel, kneel.
• Repetitive lifting, squatting, stooping, kneeling.
• Climb 20 sets of stairs without rest within 60 seconds.
• Demonstrate fine manual dexterity for clinical skills.
• Have vision adequate to read street signs, see in low light, read small print.

• Use good judgment and remain calm in high‑stress situations.
• Maintain a positive attitude in adversity.
• Have interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Function under extreme fatigue, extreme temperatures, and inclement weather.

• High school graduate or GED.
• Certified as a paramedic in Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Pre‑Hospital Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).
• Effective communication in English.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurable status.
