Job Description As a Security Officer – Industrial Access Control in Bay Minette, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and access control logs as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and provide support during emergencies.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures, providing information as needed while maintaining site security-related protocols.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
