Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Consistently prepares breakfast, lunch, dinner, or hors d’oeuvres to standards established by the Executive Chef.
• Ensures that the work area is kept clean and orderly.
• Assists in the training of new cooks.
• Must be able to stand for a full shift.
• Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers or fellow team members.
• Performs any and all duties as assigned by your manager or a member of management.
• Completes daily checklists and production charts as directed by your supervisor.

• Minimum of two years experience in a full service restaurant (preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and ability to calculate rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment; recognize spoiled or questionable products; read, comprehend, and execute recipes.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Requires close, distance, color, and depth vision; ability to stand, use hands, reach, taste, and smell; frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; performance in moderate noise level environment.
• Must frequently be exposed to risk of electrical shock.
