Long Island, NY (local projects – no extended travel). Salary Range: $75,000 – $150,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
We are a well-established construction company with over 25 years in business, specializing in structural concrete, sitework, excavation, and ground-up construction projects throughout Long Island, NY.
Position SummaryThe Senior Jobsite Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction activities on-site. This role requires strong leadership, deep field experience, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and safety compliance while maintaining productivity and accountability across the jobsite.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all daily jobsite operations from mobilization through project completion
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and field labor
- Enforce project schedules and sequencing
- Maintain OSHA and jobsite safety compliance
- Conduct daily huddles and weekly coordination meetings
- Ensure work meets plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Coordinate inspections with local authorities
- Track manpower, productivity, and jobsite progress
- Proactively resolve field issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Construction Jobsite Superintendent
- Experience with ground-up commercial, structural concrete, and sitework projects
- Knowledge of Long Island building practices and inspections preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- OSHA certification preferred
- Dependable, decisive, and results-driven
