Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Program is seeking a Pulmonary Hypertension Physician at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, NY. Fellowship training and Board Certification in Pulmonary Medicine, along with training or clinical work in Pulmonary Hypertension, are required.

Qualifications:

• Completed an ACGME-accredited residency and board certified.
• Outstanding administrative, communication, and management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital administration, and residents.
• Recent experience in accepted and current methods and techniques in pulmonary hypertension.

Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Programs:

Established in the 1980s, our program has grown to over 125 full-time physicians and is recognized nationally and internationally for expertise in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. We offer specialized centers for interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, lung disease, cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, asthma, lung transplant, interstitial lung disease, and sleep medicine.

This role includes leadership opportunities at the Lung Institute in the Eastern Region, which focuses on lung health through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research, and education. Pulmonary Hypertension is a Center of Excellence within the Lung Institute.

South Shore University Hospital:

Formerly Southside Hospital, this 341-bed tertiary care hospital is a major referral center for Suffolk County, Long Island. It features centers of excellence in cardiology, neurosciences, women's health, and pulmonary care, with multiple specialty ICUs. The hospital offers various residency programs including internal medicine, surgery, ER, and OB/Gyn. Located 30 miles east of NYC, the area provides access to beaches and recreational activities.
