Laser Machine Operator

Overview

NSI Industries – HVAC Division is seeking a dynamic individual to become part of our winning sales team. You will be mainly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with regional accounts consisting of HVAC wholesale distributors and ductwork/sheet metal fabricators.

• Must be able to read/write in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with sheet metal laser cutters preferred but not required.
• Understanding of different types of materials (Mild steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Galvanized steel).
• Problem solving and critical thinking.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to switch focus between projects quickly.
• Must be able to assist in other areas/departments when there is downtime.
• Must be able to work 4pm-3am (Monday-Thursday).
• Must be able to use standard hand tools – Tape measure & thickness gauge.
• Must be flexible – OT and weekends are required as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience
• 1 year of laser operator experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

• Must be in good physical condition.
• Must have good eye/hand coordination.
• Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
• Must be able to sit, stand, walk and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
