We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Loading Bay Supervisor with a strong background in security and logistics. You’ll be responsible for supervising day-to-day loading bay operations, supporting site standards, and ensuring smooth communication between tenants, delivery partners, and management. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Position: Loading Bay Supervisor
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (60 Hours)
Location: London, N1C 4AG

Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour

Key

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise and maintain security and access control within the loading bay area

Act as the primary point of contact for tenants and delivery partners, responding professionally to enquiries and concerns in person, by phone, or via email

Oversee and coordinate deliveries to ensure they are received efficiently and that all documentation is accurate and up to date

Monitor daily operations, identifying potential issues and resolving them proactively to prevent disruption

Conduct regular Health & Safety inspections and audits, escalating any concerns to the Site Manager

Ensure all incidents, hazards, or breaches of procedure are reported promptly and appropriate action is taken

Enforce loading bay rules, ensuring users maintain cleanliness, work within designated areas, and store bins and cages correctly

Provide guidance and support to loading bay staff where applicable

Carry out any additional duties as required by the company
