The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care to patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team. As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s).

Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

12-hour x 3 days Mon-Fri, 6:30am to 7pm. On-call required on weekday and weekend.

• Associates Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Must possess licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
• Previous general, orthopedic, vascular and endoscopic surgery preferred.
• Completion of a BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association), and IV certification.
• Must have 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
