Company: Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) – a Koch Engineered Solutions company

• OPD is an engineering/construction company serving natural gas, natural gas liquids, and petrochemical industries.
• OPD provides construction services as well as engineering/procurement for a one-stop project experience.

• Strong knowledge of carpentry, tools, procedures, and best practices
• Lead crews and conduct morning production meetings to discuss daily plans and concerns
• Assign tasks and ensure proper training for crew members
• Coordinate work according to priorities and plans
• Act as a safety role model and enforce OPD and client safety policies
• Identify and report potential safety and environmental concerns to the OPD Superintendent
• Communicate with OPD Superintendent, Logistics Manager, and Construction Manager for material needs, scheduling concrete pours, and rebar orders
• Verify forms and concrete are set within client specifications
• Competence with excavations, trenching, soil management; plan equipment, soil treatment, and safety for civil work
• Lead by example, maintain a clean job site, and use a computer to write daily reports, disciplinary actions, JSAs, and emails

• Actively participate in a strong safety culture
• Recognize safety hazards and risks
• Participate in onsite safety meetings
• Follow OPD and client safety policies
• Be aware of changing conditions on an active jobsite
• Be on time to the jobsite each day
• Display a positive attitude and work in a team environment

• Outdoor work in extreme heat, humidity, cold, and elevated conditions
• Lifting up to 60 lbs
• Standing up to 11 hours per day, with 2.5 hour break intervals
• Regularly perform climbing, lifting, bending, and other physical activities

• At least 2 years of experience as a civil foreman
• Ability to read civil, structural, and pipe drawings
• Ability to use a sight level and transit to determine coordinates/elevations
• Previous gas plant construction experience
• Experience leading teams of 10–30 people
• Willingness to advance safety culture
• Experience communicating effectively across crafts: civil, pipe, and structural

• Three or more years of previous foreman experience
• Competence with excavation, trenching, soil work and safety considerations
• Progression into field leadership
• Experience across multiple crafts: pipe, civil, and structural
