What You Will Do:

• Provide expert obstetric care to hospital patients during assigned shifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care
• Manage labor and delivery processes effectively within a fast-paced environment
• Support hospital staff by filling in during weekends or other scheduled shifts

Required Skills:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) with current, unrestricted license to practice medicine
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric and labor/delivery management
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with hospital-based obstetric procedures
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from accredited institutions
• Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice in hospital settings
• Prior experience working in busy obstetric units

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work 12-hour shifts, specifically on weekends
• Start date of December 31, 2025
• Ability to travel and work in various hospital environments as needed
• Maintains all required licenses and certifications up to date
