What You Will Do:
- Provide expert obstetric care to hospital patients during assigned shifts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care
- Manage labor and delivery processes effectively within a fast-paced environment
- Support hospital staff by filling in during weekends or other scheduled shifts
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with current, unrestricted license to practice medicine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in obstetric and labor/delivery management
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills:
- Experience with hospital-based obstetric procedures
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Previous locum or temporary hospitalist experience
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from accredited institutions
- Minimum of 2 years of obstetric practice in hospital settings
- Prior experience working in busy obstetric units
- Availability to work 12-hour shifts, specifically on weekends
- Start date of December 31, 2025
- Ability to travel and work in various hospital environments as needed
- Maintains all required licenses and certifications up to date
- Hourly Pay Rate: $195.00
