Job DescriptionAs a Project Engineer you are a key member of the project’s core team, responsible for certain (technical) aspects of the project and supporting the team in the engineering and overall organisation of the project until delivery. You will report to the project manager and together manage technical projects worldwide for industrial market leaders in the food and chemical industry, executing projects up to €20 M with an average implementation time of one to two years.
Responsibilities- Prepare and request quotations for several types of equipment.
- Prepare and follow up orders.
- Prepare data sheets.
- Organise different types of transport.
- Manage P&.
- Assist with as‑built documentation.
- Visit suppliers to carry out factory acceptance tests.
- Visit customers for project meetings.
- Follow up on‑site the different stages of the project.
- Communicate directly with the multidisciplinary team involved in the project: mechanical design, electrical design, automation and construction.
- Higher technical degree (Bachelor / Master).
- Broad technical interests, both practical and theoretical, with a general interest in process engineering.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to keep an overview at all times; can work independently and maintain focus on planning.
- Willingness to travel abroad for short periods for meetings with clients and suppliers.
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
