The role focuses on maintaining a robust materials control system that aligns engineering requirements with construction schedules, while supporting Worley's commitment to sustainability, safety, and operational excellence. Your work ensures that materials are available when needed, waste is minimized, and projects are positioned for successful execution.

  • Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and site teams to ensure materials are available at the right time and location.
  • Process material requisitions and orders, verifying specifications, codes, quantities, and approved vendors or brands.
  • Monitor material usage and inventory levels, adjusting forecasts and orders to reflect project changes or existing stock.
  • Identify potential material shortages, surpluses, or risks and develop practical, proactive mitigation plans.
  • Ensure materials handling, storage, and distribution activities comply with safety, quality, and project standards.
  • Leverage digital tools, ERP systems, and reporting processes to improve accuracy, visibility, and efficiency in materials management.
