Position: Human Resources (HR) Recruiter
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for a steel/manufacturing company in Baytown, Texas 77523. This contract position is ideal for someone who can quickly identify strong candidates, manage a steady recruiting pipeline, and make hiring recommendations in an onsite environment. The recruiter will play a key role in improving candidate quality by sourcing effectively, conducting thoughtful interviews, and moving applicants with relevant experience through the process with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for hourly and other positions with frequent hiring needs.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, outreach, and ongoing talent engagement.
• Screen applicants carefully to distinguish top performers from individuals who may not meet role expectations.
• Conduct interviews, assess experience and skills, and provide clear feedback to hiring stakeholders.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communication, and follow-up throughout the hiring cycle.
• Manage job openings and applicant activity within the applicant tracking system, ensuring records remain organized and current.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce demands, hiring priorities, and role requirements.
• Present a shortlist of candidates with relevant experience for review and support timely hiring decisions.
