Overview
Title: Hydrostatic Test Operator / Baytown, TX
LOCATION: Baytown, Texas - USA
DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS
Company: Tenaris
Responsibilities- Performs hydrostatic and drift test on seamless pipe in a safe and efficient manner following Work Instructions and Procedures while complying with Tenaris Quality standards.
- Operates overhead crane and executes change over and setup of the machine using the overhead crane.
- Performs Hydrotesting and Drifting machine operation.
- Verifies coolant levels, test time, and pressure meets work order specifications.
- Performs LOTO, preventative maintenance (PM Day), and daily operative maintenance (coolant level, machine adjustments, seals, etc.).
- Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.
- Performs housekeeping of own workstation and finishing line if needed.
- Experience operating overhead cranes and performing machine setup.
- Knowledge of hydrostatic testing and drifting processes.
- Ability to follow Work Instructions and Quality standards.
- Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with LOTO procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
