Job Summary:

The TA Material coordinator and expeditor works closely with the TA Team, Procurement, offsite warehouse, and suppliers. The incumbent interfaces with site requisitioning team on the material ordering, ensures ordered material is arrived on time by tracking, expediting and elevating concerns or issues.

Main Responsibilities:

o Request bids on long lead material, order and perform expediting.
o Interface with Procurement (Operational Buyers)
o

Requisition TA material needs per Turnaround Ordering Procedures
o Export, manage and track TA Bill of Material (BOM) ordering incl pre-fabrication material.
o Provide status on weekly ordering, report delays and escalate concerns.
o Coordinate availability of surplus material with TA Specialist before ordering materials
o Coordinate TA capital and TA expense material procurement activities (capital engineered items will be requisitioned by the Capital group.)
o Check with reliability, inspection, operations, PCT groups, in addition to maintenance, for other material and/or tools needs.
o Items researched in the procure catalog to verify description, commodity codes, and SAP numbers.
o Be knowledgeable and use existing Client materials order processes.
o Maintain detailed expediting records for reporting purposes. This will include the person notified of status of material delivery.
o Attends TA meetings, and TA Peer Reviews and provides reports to TA management.
o Notify TA MM team when materials are arriving to warehouse and will require equipment resources to off-load materials.
o Coordinate all items and equipment sent offsite for repair during Execution.
o Coordinate with onsite material laydown team on all job kits, provide forecast to laydown coordinator based on schedule lookaheads and elevate any concerns to TA management.
o Assist and coordinate with procurement on unused consignment material to vendors after TA is complete.
o Review and analyze individual vendor performance before and during the TA and communicate results to TA management team and Procurement. Any non-conformance to the agreed upon services or materials will be noted in the P4U database

Qualifications:

* High School diploma

* Experience with in the material control field

* Knowledge of Material Control practices and internal control objectives

* Experience in SAP, Business Warehouse and Microsoft tools

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Must have or be able to acquire Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC)
