Clean Harbors is looking for Chemical Handlers

Join our safety conscious team as an entry‑level Chemical Handler. You will gain hands‑on experience in the environmental, energy, and industrial services industry.

$14.00/hr – $32.00/hr

• Make waste pickups at labs as needed.
• Package and label waste products and other materials.
• Identify unknown chemicals when encountered.
• Inspect staging, accumulating, and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping and compliance.
• Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for efficient and compliant disposal.
• Maintain overall quality control of waste materials being stored and shipped.
• Complete required manifests and tracking paperwork.
• Use CHOICE waste management software to manage waste programs efficiently and accurately.

• High School diploma.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Holder or willingness to obtain a CDL Class
  
  B.
• Prior chemical handling experience or chemistry knowledge preferred.
• BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science a plus.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
