Position Overview Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with adult patient experience to support an onsite Occupational Health clinic at a facility in Baytown, TX.

Schedule:

Days | 8s | 40 hrs/week Contract Length: 52 weeks

Pay: $52/hrOn-Call: 1 week every 4–5 weeks (required)
Responsibilities Perform pre-placement and periodic occupational health exams

Detect adverse health effects (including hearing shifts) that may impact workplace safety

Evaluate employees for return-to-work and fitness-for-duty Manage employee cases and recommend appropriate work restrictions/limitations in coordination with supervisors and HR Participate in after-hours on-call rotation

Support clinic operations/flow as needed (rooming/triage support, vitals, etc.)May perform/assist with:

Drug & Alcohol (A&D) testing

Blood draws

Hearing testing and/or fit testing

Immunizations

Travel to nearby sites may be required to conduct exams

Requirements

Active Texas NP license (required)1–2+ years NP experience (required)
Adult NP experience (required)
Occupational Health experience (preferred)
Certifications (Required within 3–6 months if not already held)
DOT specimen collection
