Overview
Retail Store Manager to join our team. Compensation ranges from $14.70 to $24.50 per hour with a lucrative monthly bonus potential based on store performance.

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations and creating a positive, productive environment. Responsibilities include leading, coaching, and developing store employees; recruiting and retaining top talent; maximizing financial goals and managing customer relations/satisfaction; promoting a customer-centric environment; and analyzing financial statements to ensure goals are met and adjustments are made as needed.
The Store Manager will uphold asset protection programs, use marketing tools to promote the business, and target new customer acquisitions. Employees interact with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. Pay is determined by location, qualifications, and experience. Reports to the area District Manager.
Responsibilities of a Store ManagerThis is a representative list of duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Foster a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
- Open/close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, and ensure procedures protect assets.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and loan security.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and self-development training as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees about the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) as required by law.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
