Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our Team!
Compensation: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour
. We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process, with potential to earn commissions in addition to your hourly rate.

Position SummaryWe are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six months of management/3rd key experience. The Assistant Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations and promoting a positive environment. This role partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, manage Customer Relations / Customer Satisfaction, and set the tone for a customer-centric environment.
You will analyze store financial statements to ensure financial goals are met and participate in asset protection programs, promotions, and new customer acquisition. This position involves working with a wide variety of products and services.
The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. The actual pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels
- Open and close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control and security procedures for loans
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans
- Complete assigned tasks and self-development training
- Communicate store mission and profit objectives to employees
- Remain up-to-date on product knowledge
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager
- Other related duties as assigned
- Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, bending, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting)
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others
- Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified
- May be asked to assist customers in exterior areas or retrieve products stored outside
- Minimum Age: 18
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in multiple locations as needed
- Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays
- Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours per week
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Analytical skills
- Cash handling experience required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent work ethic and strong business sense

Commission PlanThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
