Position: Store Employee

Arrives to workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required training and meetings.
Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques.
Processes sales transactions and maintains adequate change denominations in the cash drawer, reconciles cash drawers and sales receipts.
Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
Follows and complies, or ensures compliance with established procedures, including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment in accordance with SGP cleanliness and safety standards.
Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
Performs other duties as assigned by store and/or regional leadership.
Verifies ad prices, hangs current sale signs, and removes out-of-date sale signs.
Unloads trucks and verifies deliveries and inspects for any damages.
Discard all expired items according to company policy and place near expiry ones on special promotions.
Organize merchandise on shelves and restock them when they become empty.
Perform routine inventory counts and submit reports to Inventory Clerk.
Perform stocking duties such as lifting, rotating products, and facing out.
Answer incoming phone calls from both the Office and customers.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and able to stand for an entire shift.
Discard all expired items according to company policy and place near expiry ones on special promotions.
Perform routine inventory counts and submit reports to Inventory Clerk.
Process customer orders and oversee timely product deliveries.
Supervise cleanliness and maintenance duties around the grocery section.
Inform customer of WIC benefits and ensure that he/she receives all benefits from their WIC card.
Sales & customer service oriented
Be flexible with hours we are also looking for floaters to assist in other locations to help fill gaps when needed
Have reliable transportation
Able to lift up to 35lbs
Able to stand for long periods of time
Required to complete training videos at allotted times
