As a Security Officer - Mall Entry Control in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a retail distribution center location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including those related to access control at the location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the retail distribution center environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or presence of unauthorized persons, in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, supporting site-specific needs and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
