Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

PSC Group is seeking experienced Locomotive Mechanics to join their Locomotive Repair team in Baytown, Texas. This full-time role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining locomotive components to ensure safe and efficient operations. Candidates with diesel engine or electrical systems experience will thrive in this position. • Proven troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to use and maintain electronic work order/maintenance tracking system
• Familiarity with EMD locomotive systems (preferred)
• Comfort working around high voltage and rotating equipment
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Valid Driver's License and/or TWIC card may be required
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE and pass any required medical exams
• Fluent in English (speak, write, read)
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality

• Knowledge of EMD locomotives
• Knowledge of Dash 2 and Dash 3 control systems and event recorders
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures
