The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This role serves as a liaison between warehouse staff and management, coordinating tasks such as receiving, shipping, and putting away materials and products. The Warehouse Lead plays a key role in maintaining high levels of productivity and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This is a 100% on‑site position.
Responsibilities- Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion.
- Key liaison between warehouse and the shipping office.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to team members.
- Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure inventory accuracy and order fulfilment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist in inventory control and cycle counts.
- Report any issues, delays, or discrepancies to warehouse management.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Support automation tools like barcode scanners, RFID, and conveyors.
- Ensure data accuracy (e.g., stock movements, bin locations).
- Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks.
- Assist Warehouse Supervisor with overall management of facility.
- Assist leadership with staffing, coordinating temp workers, and liaising with partner organizations.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience 2-4 years.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of SAP & Excel.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Able to work independently.
- Teamwork, dependable, and reliable.
- Available to work occasional weekends.
